The Concept:

The Story: 

Ivy was named after our saint of a grandmother, Gramma Ivy. She has a gentle heart, is extremely protective of her family, and is loyal to a fault - much like her grandmother and me. She is the only one of our children who has broken a bone. When she was five she broke her wrist and wore a cast for three months. The day she got the cast off, she climbed the big tree in our backyard. She would live in trees if she could, and I can easily picture her in a treehouse one day. She has always been drawn to sloths, saying she likes the way they look, that they live in trees, don’t come down very often, and are good swimmers. This little sloth is for my sweet Ivy — gentle, steady, and full of quiet love.
