This one started because the baked-goods table needed something salty-sweet that was not another cookie.
Brown sugar, butter, and a sheet pan. The popcorn goes in pale. It comes out shiny and it snaps when you bite it.
Same kitchen as the Banana Bread, Oatmeal Raisin Cookies, and Rice Christy’s. Same cottage label. Made the day before market so it is still crisp when you take the bag.
